Biography:
Ruairi OíBaoighill ( pronounced Rue-ri OíVeil ) is a Dark Ambient artist based in Galway City, Ireland.
He has been creating music in this field since 2010. In that time he has self released two albums,
“-87” and “Walpurgis”, and two EPs “Killing Ground” and “Cielo Drive”. His third album “The Faceless One” was released on Feathered Coyote Records in June 2014 and his second album Walpurgis was re-released on Black Death Industry. He also has a split album with Greek group “Catacombs of Doom” which was also released on Black Death Industry and is currently working on his fourth album. His work features themes from Ritual Ambience and Drone and is strongly influenced by Horror Films, the Occult and the darker side of human nature. He works primarily with various instruments, vocals, found sound and field recordings.
