Kala Hari – Saturday Night Mix for Radio Q37
KALA HARI is the solo project of Hélder José Martins, his musical journey started around the age of 15 playing bass and drums in garage bands for many years. Searching for new sounds, in the dawn of the new millenium, he discovered the electronic dance music in the goa trance parties and he felt a deep connection to it! Few years later he started to mix some chill tunes in the chill out floor of parties and festivals around Portugal! Around 2008 he began to compose and produce is own sounds in form of downtempo, psychill ambient tracks and so Kala Hari project was born! Nowadays he as already released tracks on records like Plusquam, Ajnavison, Psyderweb, BoomOne Records, he remixed artists like Lemonchill and Dubtrak and shared the stage with names like Etnica, Master Marguerita, Zen Baboon, Vibrasphere, Chilled C´Quence, etc!In Sept 2013 he released is début álbum “Land of Solar Dust” on Psyderweb Records(Netherlands) and he is now working on is new Ep called “Into a New Dawn” that will be launched in the Spring of 2014 by the mexican label Uxmal Records.
